What is RSS?

RSS, or Rich Simple Syndication, allows for visitors to easily keep track of changing content. Through the use of RSS and a Feed Reader, a person can track changes on many websites at one time, It is common for weblogs, news websites, and others to syndicate their content through the use of RSS feeds so that any person who wants to can then enter this into a Feed Reader.

What is a Feed Reader?

A Feed Reader, or Aggregator, is the application that manages a persons RSS feeds. If there is an update to a feed, the reader will notify the user that the particular website that hosts that feed has been updated. There are many popular, free, RSS Readers available, such as the ones that follow.

To Use These Feeds in a Reader:

  1. Copy the URI (web address) of the feed.
  2. Paste the address into the new feed portion of your Feed Reader.
